Professionally speaking…
David was active in the Boy Scouts, achieving the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of 14. He graduated Salutatorian of his high school class of 378 students at Alice High School in Alice, Texas.
David was fortunate to attend Texas A&M University. He was in the Corps of Cadets and commanded Squadron 12 his senior year. He received an award for the Outstanding Outfit Commander out of 36 commanders that year. David graduated with a Management Degree with Cum Laude honors. He is Class of 1979.

David is a runner — a slow, but persistent one. He has run 27 marathons and plans to do more.
His passion is aviation. He earned his pilot’s license while in college. Business and life often get in the way of pursuing a passion, but in 2006 David bought his first airplane – a Van’s RV7.
David’s wife is an artist. She did the painting of the RV7 parked in front of the hangar with the red doors (right). You can see more of her work at www.djchiecchi.com.
